Nahid is 9 years old she lives in Iran with her mother and younger sister her father has passed away she has liver cancer
A few months ago nahid's brother was killed by government
forces during the people's protests against the regime
in January and now, as punishment the Islamic Republic has cut off her family's health insurance
The Iranian government is systematically cancelling
health coverage for thousands of families not by accident but under the excuse of budget deficits and economic pressure
caused by the regime's own warmongering the same regime that spends billions of Iranian people's money funding proxy wars across the region,building and exporting missiles and drones and then turns to its own people and says we can't afford your insurance
An apocalyptic ideology that has caused crippling sanctions
and taken 90 million people hostage
Nahid's family lost their coverage now they pay for everything out of pocket
Her medication alone costs $450 every month
A widowed mother two daughters no insurance no safety net
They lost their brother and now they're losing nahid too just a 9 year old girl who deserves to live
Before my family and some of nahid's relatives were able to
cover her monthly food and medication costs because inflation
was lower and her medication cost around $85 a month
But now it's $450 a month just for the medication.
We're still helping but we can no longer cover everything
because of financial pressures we can only afford some of
her most essential medications right now and some critical
ones are being skipped, I'm not asking you to cover everything
I'm just asking if you can give whatever you're able to any amount helps
Every dollar goes directly to this family
