Copilot Update asks Permission for every file edit?

Anyone noticed this after the update? The only thing that prevents me from having to authorize every file edit is turning on "Allow All" now. That's definitely not what I want. It was working fine before the change.

Anyone know what combination of these new settings I need to allow all approved commands and normal file edits? Manual and even assisted permissions is still asking to approve every file edit.

Not to mention, there's no "approve" button on any of these commands now and interactive/autopilot don't affect it - it still makes me approve every file edit.

Help finding this style tube beads?

Hey all,

I'm a bit of a beginner and I'm having a heck of a time finding tube beads that look like the attached image. My lapis bracelet are 8mm spheres so I'm thinking these need to be over 12mm in length?

I can't seem to find much of a selection that is larger than 8x11 anywhere online except for like 2-3 options that are 8x16mm, let alone matter irregular tubes - but they're not the stones I want. This artist seemed to have this size for dozens of different kinds of stones. I bought some 7x10 stones that makes me think these are larger than 8x11.

Any idea how I can find these style? I think they're matte irregular tube beads. Also, the artist said this bracelet was african turquoise but they look a lot more like chysocolla or something. Any help in identifying them?

Guthub not downgrading my copilot sub?

Anyone have any ideas why GitHub is ignoring my request to downgrade my GitHub copilot subscription?

Request was made like second week of June and it says my subscription will be downgraded by June 22. It's July 10 and the request is still sitting there. In fact, they closed the request because I had a second issue pending that they said was related, but it wasn't.

Why am I not able to control my subscription when I want to? It's ridiculous because there's no other way to get anything accomplished

DeepSeek Extension via Copilot Still using my token credits?

At the beginning of the month, I had like .4% usage without having even touched the copilot chat in vs code after June 1st hit. I figured it was a bug and ignored it.

Now, I'm noticing my copilot credits being used up while only using the deepseek extension. I'm not sure if there's a correlation, but I haven't used any models from github in a week and I noticed that my usage still went up 11% over the week.

I checked my github settings and it shows usage on the last 7 days, when I never touched a copilot LLM agent - only deepseek via copilot extension.

Physical Therapy EMR for Startups

I saw the rule about self-promotion but also this post about allowing any posts so hopefully this ok:
https://www.reddit.com/r/healthcareIT/comments/1tgq1lj/mod_here_i_approve_everything_99_unless_the/

Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce an EHR I've developed that is focused on the clinician that wants to start their own cash-based clinic without the overhead of a brick-and-mortar investment.

TouchpointPT is focused solely on clinicians on the move, meaning those who want to start their own telehealth and/or in-person clinical practice from a few patients and scale infinitely from there.

We provide all the standard tools you need including billing, scheduling + reminders, HEP programs built-in with custom image/video uploads, and admin org management - but what we do that special, is the introduction of asynchronous video.

Async video allows you to keep closer relationships with your patients, especially those who are higher functioning and need fewer in-person/live visits.

If you want to learn more, please don't hesitate to reach out or visit us at TouchpointPT.com

Thanks!

Moving on from Physical Therapy?

I keep seeing posts about fatigue and burnout in PT and feel like that was 100% me - and now I couldn't be happier.

I want to share my story about transitioning from PT to software engineering and ask you to share your transition stories so that maybe other clinicians that are struggling with the same issues can remember that they aren't alone - and there are solutions!

After 10 years, I transitioned into software engineering (this was a hobby of mine already) after dropping down to about 30 hours for the last 2 years of my 10 year tenure. I did so to explore and figure out what I really wanted. I wasn't sure yet, but I was burned out and unhappy. And I was in a pretty comfortable outpatient hospital setting (1 our eval, + 45 min treat, 1 on 1). But the paperwork, admin headaches, lack of upward mobility, and lack of admin interest in innovation pushed me straight out of the profession.

So now I do software and I couldn't be happier. it's remote so now I have more time with family, better QoL, etc. Believe it or not, I even just launched a telehealth-focused PT EMR using my combined domain experience because I want to help PTs start their own business easily - but I won't advertise that here due to the rules.

Just remember that you're not stuck. While you're working, think about what would make you happy and start making small changes to get there now. It will re-motivate you knowing that you are working towards new goals. Believe me, I've been there and done that!

You can look up a podcast called "Beyond the Clinic Walls" or something to that nature that has lots of people talking about transitioning from PT to other careers. It's a good listen! I'm part of a discord as well that helps people learn more about these possibilities. Feel free to reach out to me if you want those links.

Leaving physical therapy isn't the only answer - it's great if you want to stay in PT - but find a way to do it that leaves you feeling empowered and excited. That what I want for all of you who are struggling like I was.

What's your happy ending story?
