Phainon is not gonna be lord ravager of destruction and hsr already hinted towards it
Before y'all jump me , I have a theory about why phainon won't be lord ravager targeting destruction
To put it simply, parallels between phainon and nanook are different than parallels between an aeon and their lord ravager
A lord ravager is an aeons INVERTED picture, a mirror that shows not what they are but their paths failure
Phainon is a replica and imitation of nanook , not a failure of path of destruction
Each lord ravager ascends because that path failed them in some way , aelenev died even though she's a harmonic , zephyro lives because nihility failed to fully destroy him , asat is like that because he watched elation lose its meaning
Phainon doesn't have that relationship with destruction, even their personalities don't match because each lord ravager mimics the aeon they want to kill by their personalities for example lux bane being mindless just like voracity , archforge being THE person who crafts anti matter legion armies
I also want to point that lord ravagers are in some way a victim of that path
Although irontomb was destruction, originally before irontomb was even born spectre was erudition, chrysos heirs biggest enemy was lygus (erudition) who used pre irontomb spectre
Back to phainon himself , in the eternal page map you can interact with him and see for yourselves, phainon is NOT seeking to destroy destruction, he's much more curious about his new life as he tries to regain his sense of self and get back with his friends , he's trying out new hobbies and talking to mydei to go to library together instead of being focused on how he has to get the universe rid of destruction
Because Frankly that was never his goal , people seem to confuse phainons ULTIMATE goal
He never aimed at destruction anyway all he wanted was to save his friends and when time comes step off the stage and he did
Phainon walked away from destruction first chance he got because destruction although dangerous didn't play the role of biggest trouble in his personal life so he doesn't see value in burning himself more to chase after nanook
He was headed at direction of lord ravager of destruction but he stopped at edge and returned because of Cyrene and trailblazer showing up
Nanook didn't have someone (akivili)show up so they descended into destruction
And phainons element being physical is very intentional, asat does quantum damage for majority of his abilities
Just like aha who does quantum dmg (both nihilux and aha from SU)
There's also a reason why Cyrene gives phainon fire dmg, because being more in his khaslana form means descending more into destruction path and that's also why Cyrene buff causes him to take dmg every turn
This points at phainon returning from that path right at edge of line
For phainon destruction was a byproduct of his choice to stall cycles not solution OR outcome
If we get a lord ravager of destruction, they will be a victim of destruction itself or even maybe nanook himself just like how nanook was victim of swarm and emperors wars
They would be actually fire element and unlike phainon who fought and returned because they had EVERYTHING to fight for , they will have nothing but their resentment
They will be an inverted mirror of nanook , not a replicate version of nanook like phainon is
Btw this is all my personal opinion and what I understand when I look at parallels between lord ravagers and aeons
Phainon simply is not fit to be lord ravager of destruction because he's a far cry from mimicking nanooks personality and imo we will get someone else fulfill that role (if we even get one because nanook might never get a lord ravager targeting them and just self destruct)
