Finally, The Rescue of Sir Ragnar with the actual Sir Ragnar
Glorious moment, after all the decades playing with replacements for this character.
I modified the quest a bit to play with the kids. Sir Ragnar started out as a weak prisoner that had to be dragged back to the stairs, barely able to move. But when all the monsters that got alarmed blocked the way back to the stairs, Sir Ragnar asked our knight politely if he could lend him his sword and shield. I then replaced the prisoner with the real Sir Ragnar and he went berserk and cut through the opposition with 6 attack dice, 6 defend dice and 2 attacks per turn (diagonal).
He really proved to be one of the most powerful knights of the realm. They were loving it! 🤣
