Axis FD Credit Card Application Nightmare — Stuck at “Payment is Processing” Even Though I Haven’t Paid
Hi everyone, this is my first Reddit post. I’m trying to apply for the Axis MY ZONE EASY FD-backed credit card and wanted to know if anyone else has faced this recently.
I've been trying since 10–11 August.
First, I got the “OTP limit exhausted” issue. I contacted customer care, visited the branch, and sent multiple emails/escalations.
After several days, the issue was finally resolved and I successfully completed Video KYC + DigiLocker e-PAN verification.
Now I'm stuck again. 😅
The portal shows:
“Pending – Payment is Processing”
But I haven't made any payment or paid the ₹20,000 FD.
The application also doesn't appear in the Axis Application Tracker.
I reported this to the branch head/operations team, but I'm still waiting for a proper resolution.
Has anyone recently applied for this card in 2026?
- Did you face the same “Payment is Processing” issue before making payment?
- Was Axis able to fix the existing application?
- Should I keep waiting, or should I move to another FD-backed card?
I was also considering IDFC FIRST WOW. If you know of any better FD-backed credit card around ₹20k FD, please suggest one based on rewards, offers, service and long-term benefits.
