Trans people belong in sports! Liberty fans are organizing in support of our trans friends at the August 22nd Liberty/Fever game. Our goal is to have as much visible support of trans inclusion at the game as possible. We will be handing out Trans People Belong in Sports signs to fans at the game and are asking people to join our $30 for 30 pledge by donating $1 for each WNBA season to the Brooklyn Community Pride Center. Organizers need your help to get the word out. They have created a document with social media graphics and talking points to help publicize the campaign (https://drive.proton.me/urls/85JEBQHNFC#hLQMvZLOoNmj). Here's what you can do:
- Post to your personal social media & share with your friends
- Reach out to anyone you're connected to with a large following
- Share in other Liberty fan spaces
- Print signs (linktree has the PDF) and distribute them to bars, cafes, bookstores, etc
