Hi everyone! I (22f) am a dental student and I have a break during the last two weeks of July. My mom just got a job at an airport so I now have standby flying ability. I have never been out of the country, so I am looking to fly to Madeira and spend the whole break there with my little brother, who really wants to camp and hike a ton there. I know I need to book camping spots and reserve certain hikes and I have verified there is availability. I’m unsure on what to do for transportation. I’m trying to be as cheap as possible while making the most of the trip. Has anyone that has been to Madeira have any advice? Recommend any must do’s? Or any advice for first time foreign camping trip?
