I filmed this on Monday, June 29. There was rolling thunder all morning without the lightning and rain. When the lightning/rain began, it sounded like fighter jets above or machine guns. Love storms; usually go out back on the property and watch them rolling in, but can’t find an explanation for the thunder I heard. FWIW, the storm wasn’t predicted and radar didn’t update while it was going on. I’m a Gen X’er, so I’ve seen a good share – wondered if anyone else had insights. Thanks in advance!

Saw a rainbow through the trees and then realized it was a circle around the sun – proficient sky-watcher (over 20k pics of clouds), but I’ve never seen that before!

Also if anyone knows what the clouds in the last pics are?
