the “cortis needs to sing more” agenda needs to end
recently, i’ve seen a ton of discourse about how cortis has amazing vocals and how they need to sing more. they definitely have some beautiful voices, but i feel like wanting cortis go to that type of music is kinda taking away from their whole “color outside the lines” idea.
most kpop groups including girl and boy groups have always been focused primarily on vocals with a rapper or two in the group. cortis having no primary singer with each of them switching off as well as making most of their music hype/rage focused makes them who they are imo. their hella good at making rage/hype so i feel like asking them to make more vocal intensive songs takes away from that.
again, i don’t mind cortis having those vocals songs every know and then such as joyride and blue lips, but it just bothers me how ppl want cortis to be like every other kpop group when their whole gimmick is to be different.

i cant help but feel that blue lips is gonna be suuuper overrated. a lot of coers want cortis to keep making calm songs like that but i honestly dont feel like it fits cortis as well. they definitely are a more hype centric group tbh
