Nobody in the vegan community told me about this

Hello! In the last 2 years, I was eating a vegetarian diet and, for some periods of time, I considered myself a vegan and I've been eating accordingly to that.

During all that time, I always had some "unpleasant toilet sessions" but I never gave too much importance to it because I was thinking "I am eating VERY healthy. Fruit, vegetables, beans etc" so I never associated diet with this problem. But it was a problem! My flatmate even told me, "man, you should see a doctor asap, it is not normal that you spend so much time in the toilet".

It has been around a week since I reintroduced meat into my diet. Not because I wanted to fix my gut problems, but because I was craving meat. In the last 3 days, I completely cut out any ethical dilemma, and I've been eating as much meat as I wanted to.

Guess what? My "toilet problem" DISAPPEARED. Gone.

Can some of you help me understand what just happened? This is just out of curiosity to get a "reddit opinion": I WILL go to the doctor asap to get a professional opinion.

Do people here care about animals?

Hello! I am not vegan but I do care about animals and I mostly eat a plant-based diet for ethical reasons. However, I am not a fan of ideologies and "all-or-nothing" mentalities in general.
