I'm working with a company to make a ring and was wondering your thoughts. I know the sizes are pretty different but size honestly isn't my main focus, I'd rather choose a stone I love and be more flexible on size.
The las photo of the natural emeralds includes the Colombian emerald of my dreams, so I'd like to find a smaller version of that.
I'm planning a trip to Island of Hawaiʻi sometime next year. There will be a total of 6 people, my husband (39m) and myself (36f), our children (ages 1 and 3) and my parents both who have slight mobility issues*. We'll be flying from a NYC airport. Should we have a long or short layover?
For context, my husband and I have been to Hawaii before, the first time we had a long layover in Los Angeles and it felt really nice to have a break. The next time we had a short (roughly 3 hr) layover which we didn't like because we really just wanted to relax and have a break from flying. For this reason, I'm thinking we should do a long layover because I think our children will be antsy and my parents will appreciate the break as well. However, I'm curious to hear other people's suggestions and experiences.
* My mom had a hip implant roughly 15 years and has mentioned sometimes it feels achey
* My dad has a slight hand tremor which I think is undiagnosed Parkinson's but he refuses to go to a doctor to get it diagnosed
