I know that there are others here who are kind of paranoid about getting a cold. For me it means 6-8 weeks of asthma and sickness. I have major surgery in a little over two weeks and I am terrified that I am getting a cold! Started all of the preventative measures. I just hope I don’t get sick. I don’t want to have to put this surgery off!!!
But I think it is time to replace Carrie Underwood. I think she is an excellent judge until the producers won’t allow constructive criticism. Then all of the judges suck.
It’s Carrie’s fault that Hollywood Week was not in California. It is Carrie’s fault that there was a gospel week or whatever it was called. And I blame her for attracting all the over-the-top gospel singers to the show. I don’t believe there should be all of this God talk. It’s not about religion!
Between Carrie and the producers American Idol has turned into a joke. And this is coming from a diehard fan of the show!

I am teaching myself recorder on a cheap wooden soprano recorder. I have played flute for most of my life. I was wondering how to place the mouthpiece and then what to do with my lips. Thanks!
Both have a 5 mm drop. The HOKAs (Bondi 9) feel like they have more cushioning and less arch support. The Topos (Atmos 2s) kill my feet! The HOKAs seem to have less arch support. The HOKAs aren’t super comfortable but they are much more comfortable than the Topos. I know I should keep the Topos but I want to keep the HOKAs.
What do you all think?
Today I had this test on my feet and legs. I also had it back in October of last year. When I had it back in October it barely hurt at all even though I had heard that it is usually painful. Today I had it and it hurt like hell. No nerve damage found in October. I am wondering if it is more or less likely that today’s test showed nerve damage. Those who have had it, what do you think?
I have been to so many different doctors to try and find out why I was still in so much pain. Finally I saw a different orthopedic surgeon and he had me get 4 lab tests done. The result: some of the hardware had loosened. June 4th I am scheduled for revision surgery! I just hope it goes better this time! Not looking forward to more pain though!
