So I had a placement test scheduled today and I wasn't really feeling well, I was sick, so I wasn't able to make it to the testing centre, and I was wondering if it affects my decision regarding my admission

So I'm from CIWG category and got a very bad rank, yet I checked past few years ranks and thought I had good chance in some tier 2 NITs and low branches in tier 1 nits, but I'm from hyderabad and CIWG counselling was very late, and I was getting admission in JNTU Hyderabad CSE branch, so I took it under nri quota, and then later at CIWG counselling, my dad and I put 33 choices, with top branch, top tier nits first, and squeezed in MIT manipal ece in between, and round 1, I got ece in MIT manipal, after seeing the round 1 closing ranks, I thought I had chances in higher choices of mine, so I surrendered the seat, and opted for round 2, shockers, I got nothing, no seat allotted, I'm Soo heartbroken, my dad always wanted me to go to a good NIT and I feel like I lost everything now, literally crying since the past hour, I don't have any option now other than JNTUH, All those years studying in gulf wasted because of poor choice planning...
