Best Replacement for Leo Split Soles?

I am looking to get back into tapping after having taken roughly 8 years off. Tapped from the ages of 3-21 prior to my recent hiatus.

For the last 10 years or so of my tap experience I always wore Leo split soles - loved how they hugged my foot, were quite lightweight and had a really crisp, bright tone. Recently learned that they were acquired by Bloch and am quite disappointed - have never been a fan of Bloch's tap offerings. Any recommendations from folks who have worn Leos in the past? What's the closest shoe you've found in today's offerings that feel and sound similar to the old Leos?

Thanks for your help!!

[28F] Am I at fault for reopening a situationship with someone [35NB] who was looking for more?

I [28F] met them [35] at a party last fall and we became friends over fall/winter last year. In January, my best friend very non-discretely encouraged us to go out. It went well and we got along great for a couple of dates, although I was very unsure about being ready for a relationship or dating at the time and communicated as such. They ultimately were very emphatic about wanting something more serious, so we both let the situation fizzle out and became lowkey friends again for a few months.

We struggled to really shake the chemistry we’ve had since meeting and eventually friend hangs became charged with an unspoken sexual tension. I eventually caved after having received enough signals to feel confident that they were also still interested, and I kissed them when dropping them off at an airport. This rekindled our situationship for another few months, only this time with more connection, more platonic intimacy and time spent together, etc. I continued to emphasize to them that i was not in a place to be meaningfully dating or pursuing a relationship. They told me this was okay, that they were comfortable with taking things a bit slower and being more casual at the start.

Come July of this year I had a major falling out with my ex (we’d been friends since splitting 1.5 years ago - fully felt like all romantic feelings were dead and gone) that kind of sparked some unresolved attachments and I decided it was best to call things off with my situationship because i had a lot of my own BS to work through regarding my ex.

We did no contact for roughly 6 weeks and they reached out to reconnect. When we met they read a letter of sorts that explained all of their feelings about the situation and ways in which I’d hurt them. i certainly understood them being hurt and feeling blindsided by the mess with my ex - i felt pretty blindsided by it too.

the one thing that hasn’t sat right with me since our conversation is their framing of our rekindling the situationship the second time around. i thought i had been very clear about how much i had to offer and what my limitations were with regards to pursuing something more meaningful. they framed the situation as me disregarding their wants and pursuing them without consent.

i don’t know that i really agree that i can be responsible for them willingly participating in the situationship if i was clear with them upfront and throughout about the limitations that i had in place. i suppose i could have not leaned into the sexual tension and kissed them again, however if they continued to pursue it for months after that i’m not sure how i could be held responsible for all the time they spent investing in the situationship.

am i missing something or somehow being inconsiderate for feeling as though im not totally at fault for the mismatch in our dynamic for the time that it lasted?
