I saw FTP last year in San Fran and we got mixed up with the BART system and got to the concert pretty much before the doors opened. It was completely packed and we watched the whole concert basically from the bar.

Well we just got tickets for UC Berkeley in September where the whole concert is General Admission. Starts at 8pm.

How early should I arrive if I want to get as close to the stage as possible? I'm willing to wait as long as it takes so I wanted to plan accordingly.
