Hello all,

Recently accepted a position in jersey city a short walking distance outside the Newport station, and am wondering if anyone has experience with a central jersey -> jersey city commute like mine.

Driving to Metropark -> Newark penn -> Newport station gets me to work at 730 with a 2hr commute, considering driving up early to try and beat shore traffic and save money.

Does anyone make this commute strictly driving? If so, has traffic been somewhat predictable? Would commuting to a different station better suit my situation?

Any advice is appreciated
