Junior here has shit wisdom path attainment and wants to get some insight based off emotion path because I am genuinely getting slimed out by my wisdom path seniors rn
Hopefully this doesn't get taken down, but basically, I was inspired by Fang Yuan's ideology and designed my own character, so I would like to hear your guys' thoughts!
Essentially, similar to how Fang Yuan's 500 years had shaped his philosophy, this character enters the story with a rather fixed philosophical outlook on life. Similar to Fang Yuan's true person ideology, the character believes in the idea of elegance. Essentially, to be able to know what path one truly desires to walk on and follow with that idea.
Similar to Fang Yuan, he is not gifted in the world, which has magic system and whatnots. Point is, he is not even able to access any of this magic nor is he of any significance to the world. He understands that is a gap that could never be closed nor does he intend on wasting his life to chase this dream for the sake of ego, instead he simply want to know what it is he truly wants.
Basically, similar to how Fang Yuan disregards all for his eternal life, this character abandons all for understanding. While he cannot access the magic system, there is a way for even normal humans to transcend completely beyond the material realm. He believes that every desire we have is shaped by the world around us.
He thinks that whatever goal one pursues currently is false due to it rooted in the expectations and emotions of this world and only transcending beyond this world’s confines in all aspects social, interpersonal, emotional, physical, and all, can one truly understand what they desire.
However, unlike Fang Yuan, he is not as decisive as him as he is much younger and not a 500 year old reincarnated demon. He had been wronged in his youth by three people and seek vengeance on those three not because he desires the satisfaction of it, but rather the hollowness vengeance allows and how it enables him to pursue his path to transcension with a clear mind.
I want him to hopefully have a similar ideological bite, and what better way to do it than to ask my seniors?
