Almost Got Kicked Out Of My Parents Home, Unemployed For 15 Months, And Been Thinking Of Entry Level Jobs in Non Corporate Jobs Such as Entry Level Sales

Hi, does anyone here know how to handle the headache I get from the job search since my last interview was on April 3, 2026 and currently don't have any motivation to apply to any corporate jobs or any jobs within my field since my most recent job was a data analyst and before that I was an application developer.

It is very scary to think about my job search and also been thinking of entry level non corporate jobs, such as entry level sales job or any places that you know that are hiring immediately since I have asked if a company will be hiring me tomorrow which the answer is no since no interview since April 3, 2026.

In addition, I have been told that in my neighborhood which is not even an affluent and wealthy community everyone has jobs. I had jobs before but got laid off twice. It will be no good for the neighbors to see me not having a job, and it is bad enough that I can't really be applying to any more corporate jobs within my field which is why I am looking at entry level sales jobs and other jobs immediately hiring.

I am getting a headache thinking about my job search and so is my family.

Job Search Emergency

Hi, is there anybody here who can give me advice for my unemployment of 15 months with the upcoming Memorial Holiday weekend coming up since I think I got ghosted from a recruiter about a week ago when she just called me on Monday afternoon and missed the phone call since I don't answer unknown numbers and then it took me a couple of emails for the recruiter to respond? I feel ghosted.

Is there anybody who can give me advice on how to handle the 15 months of unemployment since I don't feel good about applying to jobs today? I have applied to about 40 jobs last month and this month with a few recruiters or HR reaching out to me which has not worked out so far.

What help can anyone provide about the job search since I have been told that everyone at my age or I know has a job as the only problem is only a good or bad job which 15 months will soon turn to 1.5 years and 2 years which I have been told is a very long time to be looking for a job? I am feeling worried.

I have got interviews for 18 jobs from March 2025-April 2026 but no more interviews after this. Please let me know how I can handle or tackle this job search emergency or crisis.

Hi, should I be considering a job in new fields of uber driver or assisted living jobs that provide room since I have no luck finding corporate work for 15 months of unemployment? I have got interviews for 18 jobs in the past but it seems that these days or for a month I have not been getting any interviews for corporate jobs. I have got the silence or rejections. My past experience was most recently a 10 month job as Data Analyst and 6.5 years as application developer and associate software engineer. I have a Power BI certification exam that I would like to pass if I can but it seems that the certificate cannot guarantee me a job. Please assist with my serious job search situation since these days corporate work I will be getting fewer and fewer interviews with the 15 month unemployment currently.
