I got my resident visa, and I will therefore need to apply for ARC once I am in Taiwan.
What determines the expiry date of my ARC? I will be studying for 6 months, but what if I decide to extend my studies and would like to stay longer?
I guess my question is, what would determine the ARC expiry date?

I am from Montreal Canada and I received the scholarship for 6 months.
I applied to NTNU and received admission letter for the fall semester (3 months).
I absolutely want the resident visa. Will i be able to obtain it even though my school admission letter is only for 3 months if I can show that my scholarship is for 6 months?
