Sensitive stomach help!
I have a toy f1b Cavapoo. she is 1 1/2 and even though I read that cavapoos had sensitive stomachs I had no idea it would be this rough! what have you guys found that works if your Cavapoo has digestion issues?
her general diet is home cooked using dr. Harvey’s base mix. she will be perfectly fine, but then every few months get diarrhea with mucous and clearly not feeling well, won’t eat, etc. I have tried to do everything right since she was a puppy to give her a healthy gut (probiotics, etc), but we are still struggling. the vet says it doesn’t seem like an allergy because she is fine for months in between episodes, but we are still going to try a novel protein diet. her pancreas leaves are also normal. we can’t find anything wrong with her. but she’s already picky and tiny, and then when she doesn’t want to eat because of issues it just makes things worse. I appreciate any help!!
