Can the GOP tweak their gerrymanders before every election from now on?
It used to be that gerrymanders were done only every 10 years, after the census. Now that the norm is broken, couldn't the GOP redraw the lines before every election? I ask this because there is hope/cope out there that Democrat voters could find surprise wins if their turnout is high enough. But couldn't the GOP look at voter data to change any districts that turned out to be more purple than they hoped, raising their odds of taking back the seat in the next election? it seems like they'd have the power to continually refocus the districts to give themselves an outsIze chance of winning.
