So…after a year + of searching for the perfect Doberman rescue (for us), we found Kitty. She is 6 months old and a typical velociraptor and Velcro girl. Not our first puppy, but first in 30 years, last were adults. All tips welcomed. She is of course on her best behaviour as it’s only been 12 hours.

Will add better pictures later, don’t have them on this device. BTW, the Kong fish that she is chewing on lasted less than 10 minutes! Suggestions on toys that she will like and will be terrible would be appreciated. She already has the Kong we can stuff. My slippers will not be durable enough lol

I’ve been searching for the right Doberman to adopt for over a year now. Looking for feedback on this medical condition.

I am waiting for a call back from the vet that is responsible for this shelter. I am doing outside research at the same time and I’m also reaching out to this forum.

She has malocclusion of the lower jaw, not lining properly with the upper jaw. Has anybody had experience with this? She is only six months old and according to my research thus far treatment is most successful between ages of four and eight months.

If anybody can offer feedback on this condition, I would appreciate it very much.
