My used copy of SH5, I believe printed in the 90s. One of the people who read it before me marked (almost) every single paragraph that has "So it goes" in it

I got this 3 or 4 years ago and never opened it since I had recently read the book and got it whenever I decided to reread it. Well 2026 is my year of rereads including SH5, and realized it was marked on every paragraph that had "so it goes" in it. Pretty cool! I love getting used books and seeing all the notes, highlights etc people wrote in them.

Been postponing having her spayed because I'm scared it'll be too stressful for her :( I need tips/reassurance

EDIT: Thank you so much everyone!! I just talked to her vet (she had to get dewormed) and he was very reassuring. She'll have a pre-op test done to rule out any conditions that might cause complications, he explained that he administers anesthesia a little bit at first to see of she has any negative reactions and it's not an overnight stay unless there's complications. So we will schedule the test in about a month and if everything goes well she'll be spayed within the following week, I'm hoping the next day.

She has separation anxiety. Ever since she was a puppy she was always very nervous around other people and other dogs, she'll be two years old in July and still not spayed. I'm not too worried about the procedure, I'm worried it will be too much stress for her to stay at an unfamiliar place overnight, surrounded by strangers and lots of other animals. I'm actually paranoid she'll have a heart attack or something 😭😭

She'll start staying with my brother and his dog for a couple hours every other weekend to get her used to being in other places without me (she's already been to his house and met their dog multiple times before). Does anyone have any tips or experiences? :( I swear my original plan was to be responsible and have her spayed at six-eight months old but I'm just really, really nervous.
