Please help me reunite with my daughter.
I am 23 years old and have been through a lot in a short time. After being sexually assaulted, I became pregnant and was kicked out of my adopted mother's house with my daughter. This left me homeless and struggling to find stability. My biological parents reached out, and I hoped for support. My mother offered to watch my daughter while I worked, but one day while I was showering, my 15-month-old daughter ingested a marijuana gummy. I rushed her to the hospital, which led to a CPS and law enforcement case. Although my CPS case was closed, I was incarcerated at the time, and my adopted mother was given physical custody of my daughter. She lives in Virginia, while I live in North Carolina. This happened last April, and I have missed a year with her.
Recently, my charges were dropped because I was not responsible for what happened. Now, I am focused on rebuilding my life and getting my daughter back. I am applying for jobs, but it takes time, and I need support quickly so I don't lose more time with her. The funds raised will help me secure an apartment, provide a safe home for my daughter, and buy her the things she needs.
