Roadtrip suggestions

This summer I'll be driving loosely along this route out to Oregon. I'd love to get some suggestions on other cool places I should stop/see/camp/hike anywhere remotely going that direction, or anywhere in Oregon/Washington. I'll be gone for a month, so I want to see and do as much as I can while I'm out West. I'll be driving a van that I built into a camper. I also haven't picked a route back home yet, so I am thinking about potentially going farther south on my way home. Really, I'd happily take suggestions of pretty much anywhere West of the Mississippi.

I have a Wave 3 I am using in my van camper build. I'm trying to find some vents that I can mount to the side of my van for the exhaust, so I don't have to leave a door or window open. I've found a number of different options on Etsy, but it's hard to tell what is actually any good. Has anyone else used any of those, or made their own vents?
