We’ve got a 24 plate cx5 a month ago it was making some brake noises so took it back for them to have a look and apparently it needs new brakes….im just very curious to know supposedly they make all these inspections before they sell the cars at the main dealers with many guarantees etc how could they sell the cars with very simple maintenance issues like brakes etc it makes you not trust them with even basic things

Hello all, I’ve had my 2024 Cx-5 for about a month now, at very low speeds if I brake or when I reverse the brakes seem to make a loud whistling noise, at first I thought it would be because either they were new or the car hadn’t move in a while but now after around 500 miles the noise is still there…has anyone experienced this? is this normal and will go away in a few more miles ? Or should I ring the dealership to have it checked?
Was looking for a used coupe on the market,was between the arteon or the A5, I really like the look of the arteon, I feel it’s something different which you don’t see on the road all the time but also the A5,which one would you recommend and why
