Northern Mistral

-based more on norse mythology and split into 9 main states or cities

-the hunters in this area are based on heroes and gods from northern myths the most prominent huntsman during the great war was the faunus Beowolf Who had defended mistral from Grimm attacks sent by a beast he had named Grendel

-has a culture that has similarities to old mantle due to previously being a colony state that declared independence once they started there anti emotion campain

-deals with more animalistic grimm that mostly have no intelligence with the rare exceptions of a few alpha variants that attack with the most notable in recent years is a ginormous snake like grimm known as jormungandr who was held back at the cost of two huntsman named Siegfried and Brunhild

-has the most disorganized military as there built up with mercenary groups some of which don't use aura yet manage to defeat hordes of grimm

Eastern Mistral

-has a mix of Japanese and Chinese culture and design with the colder regions being more based on Japan while the warmer regions based on china

-has had dozens of different councils ever since it was made mostly due to backstabbing and coups not to mention the branwen tribe had once attempted to take over the whole of eastern mistral under the command of Hun back when the branwen tribe was at there strongest

-has more spiritual connections and better understanding of aura where they train to use aura techniques to show better uses for it

-has a few sects of villages who focus on living a more peaceful lifestyle with little conflict and rarely attract grimm

-has the most organized army between the 3 states with focus on horseback riders and archers

-is where haven academy is built

-home of the founders of the Mistralean Trading company

-took over most of mistral with the help of mantle before the great war

Western Mistral

-has Greek and Roman inspired culture with government similar to that of vale that was founded by a king with white hair and emerald eyes

-has some of the most intellectual members of mistral where most of there arts sciences and knowledge is has flourished and the most powerful of the other 2

-had been the most affected during the great war and currently trying to oppose atlesian occupation

-has been in a power struggle with eastern mistral that hasn't been helped with the found of haven academy

Government

-is split between a council of twelve with 4 members from each states

-from western mistral :Triton Vasilias, Mars Ultor, Hestia Nikos

-from Eastern Mistral: Leonardo Lionheart, and 2 I haven't named yet

-from Northern Mistral: unnamed

Extra lore

-had lost southern mistral during the faunus revolution as restitution with many seeing it as a stain on Mistralean history

-has the most production of adept aura users out of all kingdoms

-third most organized army from the 4 kingdoms just above the Vacuo but beneath Vale

What are your thoughts on this

Jaune Arc

So in my au he and Rwby are the two main characters with each chapter focusing on what kne team is doing after the other

He comes from a long line of warriors hunters and heroes with the last great Arc known to the world was Roland Arc

Who happened to die 10 years prior to the beginning of the show during the mount Glenn incident

With his oldest Child at the age of 16 and the youngest child at 1

He spent his years wanting to become a huntsman dreaming to be able to live up to his father's name

His grandfather however didn't let him forbidding jaune from learning much about aura or how to unlock it leaving jaune lacking in certain knowledge

Despite that however jaune did his best to learn as while he couldn't train with the guards he did his best to get himself use to the weight of a sword and shield

Then one day his second eldest sister Amber had left after an argument with there grandfather when jaune was 13

She had promised to always write him a letter about where she is or what she was up to and when the time was right help him train atleast be a special admission in beacon

The next three years he didn't do anything but simple work outs and learning more about grimm his thought process was that if he couldn't have aura like most people he could atleast learn what weakness a grimm has that even someone like him could exploit

When letters stopped appearing from his sister suddenly he couldn't bring himself to wait since he never spent 3 months without managing to get a letter sent to the family

He stole the family sword and shield a blade called crocea mors and a shield called Pridwen and left in the dead of night.

Not sure yet how he manages to fake transcripts to get into beacon but I want to make it ozpin allowed jaune to attend because ozpin knew his father Roland who was once a member of his inner circle before he died

Jaune's main goal in the first 3 volumes is to ry and figure out what happened to his sister and get stronger to be able to go out and look for her while trying to become a better hero

He has some problems where he feels like he needs to be able to accomplish it on his own to prove his grandfather he can make it on his own just like his dad did and does tend to not ask help from his team because he feels like a burden for being the least skilled out of all of them

For the end of his Arc I want jaune to be a white knight who lives up to the family name and gets the approval from his grandfather

Nora Valkyrie

So for Nora I actually have a few ideas for her but the deciding factor is if I want her to be faunus or not to parallel with team rwby with 3 humans and one faunus

But her story would mainly be the same where she winds up in kuroyuri after her parents were killed

In there she's taken in by Ren's family and gets to enjoy it for about a year before the destruction happens leaving her and Ren alone as they journey around the world

I'm tempted to make her have some antagonistic relatives such as a loki based character or a faunus based on jormungandr but that's for another day to decide

Pyrrha Nikos

So for her I want her to be a victim of the Mistral Trading company who in my au I'm basing of the east India trading company

Her father Peleus is having died during a dust processing plant that ruined the lives of many residents of Argus including the Argus independence front one of many Groups who are still fighting for decolonization from atlas

For her arc it's about her both believing in destiny and needing to understand that destiny she must forge her own

How her character goes depends entirely on whether or not I keep her alive as I have 3 ways o go about it

1 she stays dead just like in canon

2 she survives alongside the rest of her team

3 she survives but everyone assume she died as ironwood has her brought to atlas to keep her safe

Lie Ren

In my au kuroyuri is from one of the last sects that wish to free themselves from emotions

Ren's dad in my AU leads a group of horseback archers known as the kuroyuri rangers taking some characterization from Shang from the Mulan movie where his father I'm basing entirely of Shang's dad

He and Nora spend years on there own becoming wandering huntsman until they were found and taught by a wandering huntsman who is related to yatsuhashi

He trains them for a while before handing them a recommendation letter for Beacon and giving them enough money on there journey

For Ren I want his arc to be about growing out of his own comfort zone to free himself from the walls he built from kuroyuri to be able to allow himself to feel and understand his emotions after locking them away for so long

And to one day admit to Nora everything he feels about her

Ruby Rose

So in my AU Ruby would very much still be a gun nut something she'd pick up from Tai when summer was still alive her and tai would always be busy with some new weapon he'd make or a way to upgrade his weapon

By age 8 with some help from Tai she managed to make the first iteration of crescent rose after getting inspired by Harbinger

Unfortunately the day wouldn't end a happy one as Summer who was out on a mission for Ozpin was reported missing by Qrow who wasn't optimistic about her surviving based on what ozpin told her

After that things at there home became more tense as Tai had become almost catatonic at the loss of his wife with Qrow being around more feeling obligation towards his nieces and becoming someone Ruby started to idolize more as she always snuck off to watch him help the border guard against grimm

One day yang led her somewhere through the woods and told ruby it was a chance to test out crescent rose since the grimm there were smaller and weaker which ruby was all the more happy to hang out with yang and test her weapon

Only for them to get surrounded by a pack of beowolves with rwby not managing to do a thing against them and we're nearly killed until Qrow swooped in to save them

After both of them nearly dying taiyang started becoming a more active parent after Qrow gave him a talking to with Qrow helping Ruby learn to fight with a scythe while Tai started helping yang learn to fight with her fists

Over all I want Ruby to still definitely be the young optimistic heroine someone who sees huntsman as heroes who save people against evil and has a black and white view on things and would eventually grow more into the kind of huntress she dreamed of becoming despite the more she learns about the world and how not everything is boakc and white

Weiss schnee

So Weiss in my AU would definitely be prejudiced against the white fang with her arc still being her needing to unlearn the prejudice her father had taught her

The first moment she'd understand how badly the image of the schnees became would be due to a former classmate and friend of hers Illa Amitola

When she saw her become that vitriolic over the SDC because of the deaths her father caused it made her start to see more of a reason why her older sister starts distancing herself from the family why she would always be in an argument with her father

Though the moment she'd gain a hatred for the white fang would be an assassination attempt during one of her performances done by a group who claimed to be a sort of the white fang

The theatre she performed in was bombed as supposed retribution over deaths that the SDC had caused but the only thing Weiss cared about at the moment was the death of her godfather Jacques brother who I'm basing off frosty the snowman

Her uncle in my AU would be the one who she saw as more of a father than Jacques as despite Jacques showering her in presents he wasn't always around while her uncle was

During the bombing he was killed trying to get Weiss out of there from a falling rock that threw his tophat off his head as the body guards carried Weiss away

Ever since then while she wants to fix the schnee name she still couldn't get out of her mind the assassination attempt and the loss of her uncle as the air around the manor became more suffocating

Her mother had taken to drinking when her oldest friend had died

Her father became more of a shut in, in his office

And winter hardly returned to the manor preferring to stay in her bunk in the military

That's about at most all I've got for Weiss at the moment and will work on her more

I kinda want Weiss to end up adopting traits from her grandfather who in my au was the man who put the schnee name on the map a hero of the great war and had done his best to help everyone human and faunus alike

Blake Belladona

Blake in my Au is more of an interesting case as I want both of her back stories to be canon

Where Firstly she is still the technical princess of menagerie

But was raised as an orphan

In my AU she was kidnapped by members of the Albains as a way to leverage the belladonas to lead a crusade against the kingdoms

As at that point menagerie did not have the high tech support they originally did

To be more clear kuo kana was still in the process of being built with the belladonas trying to convert the White fang to go back to there original ways as a peace keeping group who goes faunus villages across thekingdoms offering aid

But that lived on menagerie did not feel the same way

As after a revolution all they received was being sent to a near death island with the amount of grimm that resided there and little to no at of trade exports other than fishing as it was hard tk gain farmland due to the amount of grimm that kept attacking

Blake was kidnapped during an attack from grimm in a weak point in a Wal that atlas had helped built to repay for there sins which the Priesthood used to try and incite a war

When the wall broke grimm flooded the capital and all Ghira found was Blake's nursery empty with grimm marks and dead guards around

The assassin however could not stomach killing a child so instead placed her in an orphanage near a border in mistral where her backstory happened

Eventually she'd be found by Adam when her village was about to be raised by grimm and allowed to join the fang among with Illa

I want blake here to be more of a foil towards Adam where Adam would be what blake could've been a symbol of faunus pride being used as a weapon for war while Blake would end up being a symbol of peace and does her best to try and make the beginning of peace between the kingdoms

Yang Xiao Long

For yang here I wanted her to take upon aspects of both Qrow and Taiyang

She'd be like in Canon wanting to learn more about raven but doesn't think through the consequences such as when she was supposed to watch ruby she instead brought ruby along to an old hide out that Team STRQ had made back when they were all still happy as Yabg wanted to see if there were ang clues about raven

Here though she gained her motherly tendencies from summer who had raised Yang ever since she was 2

Snd while she was always curious about Raven she was content with summer so when she lost her mom and had to be more responsible over her sister at the age of 10 she started fixating over raven again

For her arc I kinda want her to be revealed to take up Qrow's drinking tendencies which is the reason why she met junior in the past faking her ID at 16 and sneaking itno his bar and causing a ruckus

She'd be trying to grow from it and do a good job as she wanted ruby to have a more responsible role model and knew her sister didn't need to have another drunk in the family

Unfortunately when she lost her arn during the fall she'd become like Tai and be more catatonic over the loss of her Arm and The team getting splitten uo

I'm not sure yet how exactly there stories will play out in my au but I'll be sticking to Alot of the story beats in Canon albeit changed to fit better

P. S. Ruby is an affair child That Ozpin orchestrated to ensure that another SEW is born

In my au

He was born a bastard to some rich atlesian her mother once worked for and had to service at times to keep her pay and job

When she became pregnant he tossed her aside not wanting the scandal so her mother was forced to work in some remote SDC mine far away from atlas so that she couldn't go to him for money or so that the bastard won't claim the title of his first born son

She would spend years there doing her best to care for a son and make sure they both had enough to eat and live

When Adam was 10 he started helping his mother work in the mines as well as helping other faunus

As while they technically weren't slaves they were still worked to the bone like them

He was generally a joy around the mines and someone the other faunus would always look out for since he didn't knew a world outside and many of them pitied him for such a life

At 15 an accident occurred when tnt had blown up a large vein of gravity dust causing a cave in where dozens of lives were lost including Adam's mom

The days that followed were solemn after that dozens of faunus were filled with gloom after the loss of so many of there family and friends

When one faunus had been slacking a little too much one of the supervisors had pulled them by the ear to cuss them out

Adam who had enough of the supervisors who treated the accident as just another day and didn't give anyone there a day off had snapped and pulled the supervisor off the faunus

Unfortunately he was caught by the guards and the supervisor dragged him away and branded him as a message for any of the workers who dare try and go against there authority

Seeing the little boy that many of them there had practically raised sparked a fire amongst the dozens of faunus there

And within the night a revolt happened within the whole mine

There was so much fear and turmoil that the grimm had been drawn to the camp and made it a slaughter

By midnight the white fang arrived lead by Sienna who was making patrols for Grimm in remote territories between the borders of the atlas and mistral where most faunus were still corralled in as despite being forced to pay reparations after the faunus revolution it merely embittered the already racist people of the two kingdoms

She was barely able to save roughly 20 faunus out of the 300 workers from the grimm attack from the sheer emotions that drew them in while every higher up in the mine was slaughtered by the grimm

The sight of Adam had given sienna enough justification to try and convince Her friends Ghira and Kali to do more than just there protests asking what happened to the man she followed into revolution only for him to go be a pacifist

But Ghira had refused he had already lost too much from the revolution that now that they finally have a place faunus could call home he didn't want to lose it especially after his daughter was kidnapped from there own home and he could do nothing to save her

His reasoning was enough for Sienna to rally her own faction within the white fang and and disregard his leadership going back to there ways of warfare

Adam meanwhile was returned to his blood family the Taurus Clan

His mother was one of many of there family that were sold to slavery by mistral trading company when the taurus clan still had there territories in Vacuo being the clan that would still demand retribution to the lands they lost from mistral and some of the more bloodthirsty members being one of the Msot affected clans

He was trained by the head of the taurus clan to fight for the honor of the clan who had rallied behind Sienna when she proposed to go back to the more warlike fang with sienna presenting him as the poster boy for her fang

As a show of friendship he was stationed in atlas when he was 16 first being put to help out others that were in his situation being on the border between mistral and atlas

One annoyance he had to deal with from time to time due to his branches proximity to mistral was the branwen tribe with the tribe leader raven being the hardest fights he always has to have to defend there territory

But he ended up enjoying it when raven seemingly was helping Adam get stronger his strength and skill blossoming into more as he started picking up her fighting style blending it into his own

He and his branch of the fang were made to attack sdc mines freeing faunus there and helping them get to menagerie

He tended to look into people who were in the mines with him looking for someone anyone who were connected to them wanting to pay his respects for the community that raised him

It was when he found a 12 year old with the last name amitola who has being sent to a maximum security prison for assaulting upplerclass atlesians made his blood boil more against the atlesians aristocracy that they're willing to even put a 12 year old in prison

He freed her and the rest of the imprisoned faunus building up more of his branch of the white fang

He kept going after that hitting more mines freeing more people to his cause

During a protest where dozens of faunus were nearly gunned down by the sdc he found a small 12 year old black cat faunus that looked as pathetic as he did once before

He offered her his hand and decided he wanted to help her the same way sienna helped him

The next four years blake and ilia were his best pupils in infiltration helping him manage to successfully save more faunus being practically folk heroes for the faunus that Ghira could do nothing to stop it as even the church of Fauna the goddess of Faunus endorsed this new way of the fang

Yet as the fame and success were starting to get into there heads they became more violent more willing to shed blood against humans which made the tensions between menagerie and the 4 kingdoms more tense

As while the fang were seen as heroes in mistral and atlas faunus

They were being seen as reckless extremists by there valean and vacuoan branches who were being treated as criminals by the kingdoms despite those branches not doing anything like the ones led by Adam and sienna

Things had finally taken a turn for the worst when Blake had betrayed adam

It was a mess

A simple mission where Adam and branch were robbing an sdc train ended with a atlas specialists attacking them led by Winter Schnee

During the gun fire blake had ran not wanting anymore to do with this as Adam was forced to fight back against the specialists

The fight led to a large scar across his back from a rapier but he paid it back in return as Winter was blinded in one eye

After that incident atlas and mistral increased there patrols and hostility to the fang labeling them as terrorists

And because of his injury sienna had stationed Adam in vale to rest and regroup being sent to help the valean branch go against a human supremacy group known as the silver bullet brotherhood

But it all went wrong once a woman in a red dress came

Something I've thought about was about or a bit was how lacking in religion apart from the faunus who have the god of animals

So here's one I have an idea to work with existing lore

For vacuo who is the inspiration for this post and only one I could figure something out for

We have the Sun king and the Mother of Darkness

The sun king(Ozma) is said to be the great unifier of vacuo who kept the warring tribes from destruction when a dark age came where grimm hordes grew powerful and ravenous and brought peace through the lands by driving the darkness of the grimm with the power of the sun

The Crown an organization who wants to return monarchy claim to be descendants of said king and wants to return Vacuo back to its rightful rulers

Obviously we have the 4 kingdoms, the ozluminati and the Salem circle

But I feel like the show would've felt more lived in if there were other groups maybe things that salem could've been puppeteering

Like the crown, the branwen tribe the white fang and happy huntresses were definitely fund additions that shouldve been handled better

So if you were writing the show what groups would you add that you feel would make sense in the show

For me I feel like it would be a great addition would be a knightly order known as the rusted order

There recognized by a part of there attire being rusted for example a group of them all having one left shoe that's rusted over

There whole deal is that they are a neutral group who don't interfere with the politics of the land and is a place where people who wish to wage war against the grimm join up

At the height of there power they had whole platoons who patrolled all of of vale until they and the knights of vale led by the king of vale were nearly wiped out by the largest horde of grimm seen by man

Nowadays they have branches in all 4 kingdoms even menagerie but there power is small yet the few groups they have spend there time patrolling border settlements and outskirts with 20 members who together are capable of defending small to medium sized towns

If you had the option to give jaune a new semblance what would you give him?

For me while I'm more inclined to keep his Canon semblance I've had this idea I've been toying around

To go along with his allusion of Jeanne d'arc being able to hear saints

Jaune is able to hear or mimic the fighting styles of people he's seen fight and being able to mimic a fraction of the strength there semblance has

For example if he were to use polarity he can't use it the same way pyrrha can with the exact precision

If he used petal burst he can't turn into petals only getting a speed boost

The downsides for this it would always be a weaker semblance compared to the others and he can't use more than three semblances before he uses up his aura

Would love to hear how everyone else would remake his semblance

In my AU salem is the allegory for the devil in every single mythology of the kingdoms

While Oz is always the one who pushes back the darkness

For example in Vacuo myths she's known as the shade Queen where she was ammasing an army to wipe out every settlement within the continent

Oz however was known as the Sun King who led the tribes of Vacuo under his rule.

This iteration of them would be based of Huitzilopochtli and Coyolxauhqui

During this time both Salem and Ozma tried brute force approaches to here goals with Ozma gaining a pyrrhic Victory

In the myths from mistral Salem was the mother of dragons who made powerful grimm who could ravage the lands in ways a single army could never hope to defeat

She had 10 dragons whose flames burned cities down in droves

Ozpin meanwhile had spent this time searching for anything else the brother gods had left in his world as brother light had told him he would leave behind gifts within the people

It would eventually lead to the first acts of semblances being revealed where ozpin had grew an army a thousand strong of semblance users

They would eventually fight where Ozpin who wielded a bow at this time had killed all but one of those dragons eventually dying failing to kill the last one as salem left when her army was destroyed

Based of the Chinese myth of Hou yi

For mantle

Ozpin had tried making a powerful empire using the knowledge from the last two kingdoms where he needed the obedience of the mantle citizens

He tried forming an army large enough with technology being forced to advance faster than most as ozpin used all the knowledge hee has from the original humanity

Only for it to be in vain as he charged his armies as the dark wolves of salem slaughtered them with the kingdom of mantle only surviving because of a silver eyed warrior

Ozpin gave up for 10 years becoming a hermit until 4 girls convinced him to try again in which he made the maidens

He became a king of vale while salem tried to turn the kingdoms against each other instead becoming a shadow that whispers in the ears of rulers

It all came to head during the great war where salem was beaten by ozpin and trapped in the grimmlands with seals in the four kingdoms keeping her at bay

She now is stuck only being able to speak through her grimm and find people who she can use to further her goals

Nkne of this is set in stone so I want to hear how everyone else deals with them

How would everyone write the maidens who have died what importance do they have to some of the villains or heroes

How I'd rewrite the dead maidens and how they're connected to some of the characters

So to start of maidens are a form of spirits like the relic spirits made by ozpin with these four being the spirits of seasons

when a maiden is selected they can sometimes get bits and pieces of a previous maidens memories if they are firmly in tune with the maidenhood and can pull an avatar calling upon previous maidens for guidance

Not everyone can do so but the greater your connection to the season the more likely you are to be able to discuss with other maidens

Now let's get on with the two maidens who were connected to still alive characters

1. Amber Arc

In my au amber is the second eldest arc daughter she was a random choice by the spirit sensing her to be able tk be a wonderful maiden

Her and the rest of her siblings are based off different fairytale princesses while jaune is based of the prince archetype

She became a maiden during the time she ran away from home after another argument with her grandfather who was overprotective and wanted to never outlive any of his grandchildren

Was the sibling jaune was closest to before she left when jaune was around 13

She inspired jaune alongside the legacy there father left behind of arcs never being ones to back down from helping others

She was found by Qrow while trying to figure out how to stop a horde of grimm using her new maiden powers of decay

She spends most of her time as a maiden becoming an urban legend who travels from settlements from vale to mistral being known as the autumn guardian

Dies like in Canon but gets to see her little brother one last time

2.Greta reinhart

Became the maiden at the same time her and hazel ended up attending beacon being classmates with team STRQ

Was trying her best to learn how to use her abilities with her twin hazel being her practical bodyguard almost always taking the hits for her or trying to be a human shield to keep his sister safe

Spent her days helping the ozluminati maintain the seal blocking salem from attacking

When she thought her brother died at Mount Glenn she and Leonardo opened the vault to talk to djinn wanting to put an end to salem once and for all

But when she learned the truth she broke and left running for the hills going for the person she saw as a friend who was nearby and wasn't connected to ozpin

Raven, who took her in and let her vent trying her hardest to get a grip on her mental state

Raven killed her after a month to become the new maiden

Oz never tells anyone what happened to her with only Leonardo and raven being the only ones to know

When hazel was found alive he only told hazel she was killed by a grimm horde

That and it made sense to me since he let jaune in despite the faked transcripts

Starting off this group was made somewhere during the great war founded by the king of vale and the knights of vale

Over the years the group has had members shift in and out so I'll be talking about the members during the faunus revolution and the current

Current members

Ozpin

-leader of the group

-has spent years helping to form and shape the kingdoms with many mistakes that first led to the great war when salem was fueling the power hungry desires of mantle and mistral

-has formed the four kingdoms in specific places of power to help make a seal that keeps salem from ever fully manifesting through the land of remnant

-his body has started dying out already a terminal illness that's made him a bit desperate hoping to have more time with the power he has to ensure his group can manage with him going to be out of the picture for a while until he can build up a new heroic identity

Glynda

-daughter of a previous maiden and had been a close friend to ozpin before ozma had taken over

-can't become the maiden due to her being barren a limitation of the maiden hood

-has been set up to be the next principal of beacon when Oz passes

-is the more pragmatic to the idealist that is ozpin

Ironwood

-was inducted into the group at the behest of a previous member as they needed someone they could trust in charge of the cesspool of corruption known as atlas

-was made into a cyborg during the faunus revolution with his semblance causing him to keep trying to fight an opponent until he was nothing but a torso and an arm

-was rescued by his assailant and had been one of four people who helped broker the peace between the kingdoms and the faunus

-has gone behind ozpin plans before when he feels ozpin is out of touch with varying results that often lead to stalemates between the groups

-feels that mount glenn was his greatest failure as the man who allowed him to join the group died there

Qrow

-Oz's personal hitman being sent on the grueling missions

-the guy they send to personally find the maidens and ensure there safety

-only goes by Qrow fully shedding the branwen name

-has some weird homoerotic tension with both ironwood and glynda

Leonardo Lionheart

-The Lion of mistral

-one of the leaders of a faunus faction that went to war against mistral when his father was killed before the faunus revolution

-was a beast during the revolution with no one but the members of the mistral court knowing of his real identity

-only reason he hasn't been hanged is due to the loyalty his students and the rest of the faunus have towards him

-used the relic of knowledge when mount glenn collapsed

-had given up on fighting salem when he learned she had no weakness with Greta the previous spring maiden escaping to the branwen tribe out of fear

Theodore

-was a rising star in vacuo being the one who helped push back the faunus raids but also fought against corrupt Vacuo officials

For starters salem in my au is trapped in the dark lands something ozpin had done with help from the 4 original maidens with each of the vaults being a seal that ensures salem is stuck trapped there with even one of them being enough to keep her contained

She can however interact through the world using her grimm and speaking through them which she has used to gain followers

-former atlas top scientist who worked in both aura studies, robotics, and the computer systems being the scientist who apart from professor polendina had been the one with the most knowledge about Penny being the one who programmed her combat systems

-Was one of three people in charge of all of atlas systems from the ccts to even the systems of the flying kingdom

-has been groomed from a young age to be her mother's perfect weapon against ozpin as she was enhanced to become a holder of all the maidens powers

-idea I've had that I might scrap is salem trying to make cinder into her new body as a way for her to circumvent the spell ozpin used to keep her in the darklands

-his sister was the former spring maiden until she had disappeared ozpin claiming she had died during a grimm attack in mistral

-spent years as a ruthless hunter of grimm wanting revenge against salem

-when he finally made it to the darklands Salem gave him the "truth"

-Greta had died from raven after she and lionheart asked Jinn how to defeat salem

-if ozpin had told hazel the truth than hazel could've gotten to Greta earlier and survived instead she was murdered never being reunited with hazel
