Help With Sarracenia Purpurea and Pinguicula Weser Arizona Dormancy
I live in the Gilbert-Chandler area. I have a Sarracenia purpurea and Pinguicula Weser and I was wondering how to handle their dormancy and succulent phase respectively. I am currently growing them indoors at the moment since it is so hot outside, aside from the recent coolness due to the rainy weather. The Purpurea is under a grow light and the Pinguicula is in an east facing window sill. I am still watering them like normal.
Do they need a dormancy/succulent phase? I have seen some things that say its fine to not trigger the dormancy/succulent phase and some things that say it can stress them out so I am not sure whether it would be detrimental to not let it happen.
How do I ensure that they enter the dormancy/succulent phase? How do I know when they have entered it? And how do I care for them during it? I found some info on this when I Googled it, but I would feel better hearing it from people who have experience with it.
