There are too many luxury properties getting developed in Sector-17, Khanda colony, New Panvel. What’s actually the buzz and how do you see that are getting transformed, is it the next Seawoods?

Are there water and electricity issues in this area.

I have paid stamp duty and registration as part of agreement for sale with the builder to buy an under construction property. Now when I went to bank for home loan I came to know that as part of loan there is additional stamp duty and registration to be paid with the bank as part of housing loan. Can anyone advise, this is in addition to processing fees.

Import duty has been hiked from 6% to 15% to protect our foreign reserves. Reaching out to experts in Macro economics, global economics on when can the Government roll back.

Government will also be taking a hit when SGB matures so what are the likely scenarios that can cause import duty to fall again and how long would it take.

I am buying a home with a home loan and seeking advise on below questions -

1. Can I use SWP on mutual funds (equity, debt) or individual stocks which are long term to part prepay on a monthly basis to get tax exemption on capital gains?
2. For how long in years can I do SWP to get capital exemption
3. Is it applicable in new regime?
4. I plan to continue SIP in these funds as well
