Should I upgrade my 2.7L to this powerboost?

Should I upgrade my 2.7L to this powerboost?

I have a 2023 Lariat 502A 2.7l with 25k miles that I love, but I'm wanting to tow a trailer nearly full time, and the extra power, payload, 3.73 axle stability (from an extra ~1k lbs) and 7.2KWH pro power option seems really enticing!

The image is the window sticker for a PB I could get brand new at a dealer for trading in my truck + adding 20k cash.

I've noticed there's nothing much better about the 502A on my 2023 lariat vs this 501A on this 2026 powerboost.

I love my current truck and am happy with it, but it seems like not too bad of a financial decision to pay 20k for a brand new truck, warranty, tires etc (my tires need to be changed soon), plus getting 3.73 axle.

What do you guys think? I'm not sure if I'm just making an emotional decision, or if it can make sense at all.

Numbers wise they're valuing the PB at roughly 56k and my truck at 36k. The window sticker for this PB shows MSRP $68,300.

The payload of the PB is 1490 and my current truck is 1350.

The tow rating and hitch rating is significantly higher on the PB vs my 2023 as well.

The first years of my relationship with nicotine I would get a euphoric headrush whenever I hit the vape. I'm the type of vaper that doesn't do many small hits - I do huge full lung inhales every couple hours to get a crazy headrush, I don't care about the flavor, I actually prefer no flavor, I'm just addicted to the nicotine high.

After reading this sub, and Alan Cars book I was "motivated" to quit and did so for 2 months, but I recently relapsed. I bought 2 vapes. I bought a second one because the first one wasn't giving me the high I was seeking, the second one now isn't either. I've been smoking them ~5 times a day (big hits) and each time am unsatisfied and ashamed of myself.

Anyone else on here been in similar circumstances? I always read about people who like the habit, ritual, mouth feel, whatever.. I just wanted to get a euphoric high that made me all light headed and tingly for ~10 seconds. At one point I was even hooked on hitting the vape right before I orgasmed so I had a headrush during climax.. RIP dopamine.

Anyway, now, for whatever reason I feel very meh about it, which is a good thing.. when I quit I did feel like I was missing out on something despite what Alan Car said in the book. Now that I've relapsed I think I might be ready to finally give it up for good, and truly understand I'm missing nothing, but gaining a lot.

I'm posting this because I'm just looking for anyone else with similar experiences who've quit or who are still going through it, who else out there was simply hooked on the euphoric high?
