I got my first CNC, an Inventables X-Carve, in Nov. 2023. The Y1 axis crapped out on me this month and it looks like I may have to replace the whole controller. Does anyone have any recommendations on a new controller since the X-carve is discontinued?

Inventables recommended this one xPRO V5, but I'm curious if the community has any thoughts.

For anyone curious, I did already replace the failed Y1 motor driver, but it is still having issues.

I use my CNC for hobby woodworking, primary guitar building. I've been tempted to upgrade to a more precise machine, but have made the research dive yet.
