Fenrys
I just finished reading ToG. I have read acotar and heavily prefer ToG. The storyline involves sacrifice, team work, character growths, relationships and creating a new world for all, it hits me deeper.
I haven't seen anyone anywhere talk about Fenrys so I will.
I love the way that the books had a deep bonded relationship that wasn't a romantic one. We watch Fenrys lose his cranky fae male behaviour and step into a protective supportive role for Aelin. How they used blinking codes to communicate during and after the trauma.
I loved reading their friendship and how close they stayed after their escape and supporting each other to heal in ways no one else could understand.
He knew she was done with life and fought to almost death for her. They weren't even mated and that level of dedication to her after both being traumatised was incredibly sweet.
Just beautiful character development from when we first met Fenrys.
I'd say their connection is deeper than hers with Dorion, Chaol, Lysandra.
