ive been playing prey and im new to youtube so im using me playing this game to get better at making videos little by little, video by video. i think this thumbnail is the best one compared to my recent works and i wanted to ask some more experienced youtubers if this is a good thumbnail paired with my title "NOBODY WARNED ME ABOUT THESE | Prey"
im struggling to make a thumbnail for where im at in the game, and i ended up making this, i understand having my face in the thumbnail is important for clicks but i have no clue how i can make the video mysterious enough for a viewer to click on while having my face contribute to it. my title i chose was "The Narrator Never Wanted Me to See This | Stanley Parable"
Hello guys it's me again, I released a video about 2 days ago (as you can see in the video) and it really did numbers compared to my other videos, this one was more direct and it is now the best performing video I have on my channel, I gained 20 subs from my 27, comments supporting me and views far more than my other videos. However, now im at a dilemma on what to do next or what game to play next. I would hate to make such a mid video after making such a bold statement presented on that very well received video and having such a serious talk to old and now newer audiences. I don't want to revert back to my scared ways that prevented me from starting a channel for years just because idk what to do next. Does anyone happen to have any advice? Should I just not think about it, thank the people from my last video and proceed to create? Do I post this 50 minute video of my playing dispatch even tho long videos like that are HORRIBLE to do on small channels starting out? It's so mind boggling.
I started taking YouTube seriously sometime in May and it's already June, I have 27 subscribers and I don't have much content on my channel (7 videos and 4 shorts) of me kinda interchangeably playing prey and infamous as a way to get started on YouTube. I unfortunately deal with a lot of negativity in my head and can discourage me a lot but I don't want this to be a thing I leave since I wanted to be a YouTuber ever since I was a kid. I don't want to plug in my channel since I don't want to be annoying or have this post taken down needlessly since my goal isn't to get random subs but to grow gradually and organically. But I wanted to see if there's anyone I can go to for help so I want to improve on each video until I can get it right and really produce good content even for a small audience rather it be through long form or short form even though my main focus is short form
