Why the love for impact wrenches?

Been camping a lot this year. 6 weeks as a campground host, plus other trips. Currently at the largest fair in our state for 10 days. Probably 70 nights in our camper this summer.

Why do so many feel the need to have impact wrenches for their stabilizers? I feel like I'm on pit road at a NASCAR track.

I have a cordless drill for the same task. Not nearly as loud or intrusive. Love the quiet when camping.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Shirley Tote Road from Route 6 to The Forks?

We will be in Greenville soon for the week up to the 4th and I want to do some hiking in the Grand Falls area as well as Moxie Falls.

Is the Shirley Tote Road open for pickups between Rte 6 and Lake Moxie/The Forks? Certainly the shortest route as opposed to Rockwood/Jackman, then south on 201. Like 26 miles v. 85. But, only if its respectfully doable.

I have 4 wheel drive and average pickup clearance.

Thanks in advance.
