Is dehumidifier a solution to this Heat?

I live in BBSR and the temperatures are astronomical! And the reason 36° feels like 50° is bcs of HUMIDITY. infact at any given time, humidity in BBSR is not less than 60-70 % .

So, I was wondering out of boredom that if we install a dehumidifier in the room(if we don't have AC) is it going to work? Even a bit?

Do let me know!

How is Utkal Aerospace Engineering in BBSR?

12th completed and looking for college courses. I secured 81% in boards(KV student) but messed up JEE .Honestly, I was interested in Btech CSE from ITER or CV raman, but all bhaiyas and didi's who are in IT sector advised me not to take CSE, as the future is doomed for service based IT sector. And, all the major Indian IT companies are service based.

Also, aircraft AME seems a stable job and a good future and airport infrastructure will increase and increase in upcoming years in our country.

Why it's special for me? Well, it's a very different career that I am going to choose for my future away from the crowd of BTECH engineers. All my friends will be doing BTech CSE, EE, law, etc. but no one in aerospace engineering, I will be the only one doing it.

Do let me know.

Should I ask my Dad for AC hostel?

Soon college is going to start in BBSR and the heat is all time high. I took a loan for my clg course as my parents couldn't afford the hefty fees and will shift to a hostel soon. We do have a AC at home and i know my "Ac ka sukoon" is short lived now.

Ac hostel is available but it's 60k more per year. I want to convey this to me Dad but it will drain him financially. Also hostel and mess fees is not covered in the loan. I know, as a student we should avoid luxury and embrace the hardships for a better future, but still am confused a bit.

OP went inside ATC Tower✈️🛫- a dream come true

It was a farewell trip from our school to widen our career prospect. And I loved it❤️. Access inside such high security place is strictly controlled.

They told us about how to become an air traffic controller - and its not easy. The man explaining us in the second photo had a PHD from IIT Bombay 😬. Though working hours is very less, good pay but equally competitive to get into it. It requires your complete attention while working and no phone allowed on top. And the view is picturesque ❤️- I can sit there all day and watch the planes land and takeoff.

Can any random person get inside the ATC Tower? Do let me know!!

PS- we saw two Indigo land🛫 and a helicopter take off.

I checked it on Flightradar24 and amazed to find is actually an A380!!

Btw this is a daily flight between Singapore and Delhi , but sometimes it goes over West Bengal or Bangladesh as well.

Came across this protest led by BJP against inaction of BJP govt regarding women safety in Odisha 🤡. Is it a satire? No, it's real!! Are they roasting themselves? IDK😂

And in the nara they are blaming Congress, DMK and BJD🤦.

What are your thoughts??

Place- Jharpada 🥲

First of all, I have been living in Bhubaneswar for a decade now, mostly in Patia side. And i usually don't go outside. So this Sunday I went to Bindusagar for the very first time that also alone and with the help of google maps. As i got got off from the bus at Ravi talkies and walking towards Bindusagar, 4 young girls(16-18 yo, non odia)approached me and asked me where is EKAMRA VAN (I had never heard of it before and thought they had mistaken it for EKAMRA KANAN). So, very CONFIDENTLY I told them 'you are at the wrong place, it's very far away. You have to go Nayapalli for that. And there is nothing like EKAMRA VAN'😭. And guess what?? They went back to the bus stop and took a bus back to Rasulgarh 🤦. In my thoughts, I was proud of myself for HELPING LOST SOULS and taking pride in it.

Later, while I told this to one of my friend on call yesterday while smiling - damnn!!! I realised the mistake I made. Hope they don't curse me after knowing the truth 🤷.

GM everyone, JEE and boards are over and I didn't qualify JEE at all. No govt clg and zero motivation.while i scored 81% in PCM. Counselling is about to start and am really confused what to choose.

I have interest in CSE, also most of my friends have taken this course in a tier 3 clg(KIIT) and this is my first option as well- to do CSE in a tier 3 clg. But, I have seen a lot of negative reviews regarding placement- waiting period of 1 year before joining, layoffs a year after joining, no job sitting at home. I know bhaiya and didi who are going through this, also I know relatives wo are placed well and looking forward. It's a mixed review. Also ,I am not sure about the booming of IT sector after 4 years and if job and placements will be strong or not. Really confused.

On the other hand, out of nowhere my Baba is insisting me to do aerospace engineering (Ame) in a pvt clg and according to him, this is a booming sector and job is secured in upcoming years. Also, airport infrastructure is increasing and govt also spending heavily in it. But the thing is this is a very different path and I haven't met anyone who's taking this path, no one from our family also. As a result I am not certain about it and highly doubt it. Though I love planes and my insta feed filled with it😁

What do u think?? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thank you

The pleasant weather made the experience amazing. A lot of youngsters(am 18M btw), feels safe, police present and positive vibes. A boat ritual going on as i

I arrived and lifeguards present as well.

But, i couldn't find any washroom to use!!! No public toilet, people peeing on road side. As a famous tourist site in the city, well equipped toilet should be expected.

(Bhajan Jamming going on in background)
