Hi everyone,

I’m trying to source a replacement pilot valve / joystick valve assembly for the left-hand joystick on my Kubota RX403S mini excavator.

Unfortunately, the original assembly has been damaged, and because the RX403S is a grey-market Japanese import here in New Zealand, parts support through local Kubota dealers has been limited.

I’m trying to identify:

• the exact pilot valve model or part number,
• compatible Kubota models,
• or possible replacement assemblies that could be adapted to work.

From what I understand, Kubota reused many pilot valve assemblies across:

• RX series
• KX series
• U series machines

I’m hoping someone here may recognise the valve assembly or know of interchangeable models or part numbers.

I’m open to:

• used parts,
• aftermarket replacements,
• dismantlers/wreckers,
• Japanese auction sites,
• or modifying a compatible assembly if needed.

I’ve attached photos of the damaged assembly along with any casting or stamped numbers visible on the unit.

If anyone has:

• part numbers,
• service manual information,
• compatible model suggestions,
• supplier recommendations,
• or experience working on RX403S controls,

I’d really appreciate the help.
