Terrible night sweats

I took 25 mg of melatonin and had the strangest dreams, terrible night sweats, and really bad restless legs. I took a higher dose because I’d read about its anti inflammatory effects (i also struggle with insomnia), and I have several chronic health issues, including ME/CFS and suspected endometriosis.

Has anyone else experienced these side effects with a higher dose of melatonin?

How to titrate up on LDN?

I’ve been titrating up very slowly over the past few years and have finally made it to 3 mg. I’m still struggling with pretty bad insomnia, fatigue, and brain fog. I’ve heard that many people don’t start seeing the full benefits until around 4 mg, and I’ve even seen that Stanford ME/CFS doctor has recommended doses up to 9 mg for some patients.

What’s the best way to continue increasing the dose slowly? What form does your doctor prescribe it in; liquid or capsules? Liquid seems like it would be much easier for gradually increasing the dose. Does anyone have a compounding pharmacy they recommend that makes liquid formulations for MCAS patients? I’m super sensitive to a lot of foods and fillers, and they can really worsen my fatigue.

I’m also a little confused about how increasing the dose every two weeks works with a compounding pharmacy. Do they make a new prescription for each dose increase, or is there an easier way to do it?
