Feeling lonely and depressed in Sheffield — how do you cope?

I’ve been living in Sheffield for a while, but I don’t really have any friends or much of a social circle here. I’m actually a very social person, so being alone so much has started to get to me.
Lately I’ve been feeling really lonely, low and anxious, and honestly just fed up with feeling this way. I miss having people around, going out, having random conversations and just feeling connected to others.
For those of you who have been through something similar, what do you do when you feel depressed, anxious or lonely? How did you make friends or build a social life in Sheffield?
I’d really appreciate any advice, experiences or suggestions for things I could try. ❤️

Aspect 3, Sheffield

I’m moving into Aspect 3 Sheffield next month and wanted to ask people who are already living there about the accommodation and any important do’s and don’ts.
How is the overall experience at Aspect 3? Are there any specific rules I should know about?
Also, I wanted to ask about having things in my room such as a kettle, a small portable heater, or a small air fryer. Are these allowed, or would they cause any issues with the accommodation rules?
And am I allowed to decorate my room a little, such as putting up posters, pictures, or other decorations, as long as I don’t damage the walls?
Any advice or tips from people who have lived there would be really appreciated.
