How does my preload look?

Ive been rotating on and off between preloading/unloading. Usually I do 2-3 trucks but yesterday I got 4. Tried my best - driver scolded me for 3 misloads on one truck but supervisor backed me up (one of the packages had a wrong truck label on it).

Still trying to have 0 misloads, but its been two weeks. Any suggestions would be helpful

Summer preloader here—when should I tell management I’m going back to teaching?

Just finished my first week as a preloader and honestly have a lot of respect for those of you who do this long-term.

I took the job as a summer job while I’m off from my full-time career (I’m a high school teacher). Right now I’m scheduled Tuesday–Saturday from 4:00–9:00 a.m. I’ve been loading 2–3 trucks each shift, and while I’m definitely getting faster, it’s been one of the most physically demanding jobs I’ve ever done but I love every second of it!

School starts back for me in the second week of August, so I won’t be able to keep the Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

I have a couple questions:
When should I tell management that I’ll have to stop or reduce my availability? I don’t want to leave them hanging, but I also don’t want to give notice too early.
Is it realistic to ask to work only Saturdays during the school year, or does UPS generally not allow people to work just one day a week?

I’d appreciate any advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation. Thanks!
