Inconsistent Lesen and Hören results are driving me crazy (Mit Erfolg zum C1)

The Lesen and Hören results are driving me crazy. I go from 14/30 to 20/30 and then back to 14/30 in the blink of an eye. I have no idea where I stand or whether I’m improving at all. It’s so frustrating to work through the entire book, only to improve in some sections while doing worse in others, especially after studying for so many hours over the past months.

Is C1 after 3-4 months of B2 possible?

Title. I am studying aprox 30-40hours per week. Mostly productive hours. Should I be able to pass it?

Also please share how much did it take for you.

C1 online Kurs

Hello everyone,

I recently passed my B2 exam and am now looking for an online C1 course. Ideally, I'd like a course that takes place only once a week, as I want to prioritize self-study and use the classes as a supplement rather than my main way of learning.

So far, I've found these two options:

Has anyone taken either of these, or would you recommend a different online C1 course?

Thanks in advance!

Attempting to write in German:

Hallo zusammen.

Danke!

To whoever who recommended the first frost to me

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME

I have never watched something like this before. I am on episode 4 and I AM SCARED I might fall in love with this. So beautifully written, so beautifully executed, so beautifully paced. Just amazing.

To be very very honest with you, I didn't find the ML particularly handsome in the first few scenes but his personality won me over. Dude is protective, a provider and at the same time he does't interfere with her freedom. A complete green flag. When he came back to beat those three thugs. When he gave her the bigger room and still payed more than half the rent. When he waited for her to get inside her apartment to leave. Just everything about him screams safety.

5 days, 5 cdramas.

I recently enjoyed watching pursuit of jade and asked for recommendation to further immerse myself in cdramas. I tend to prefer cdramas with a strong female lead who is not childish. I absolutely despise sorrow and slice of life. All of you guys were very kind to recommend some shows in my original post. I have decided to watch the first episode of FIVE cdramas. I have watched 3 so far (I will leave a small review here) and a 4th one planned. I have not decided the fifth one, so let's see if the comments here have more variety that sticks to my preference than my original post.

Here are the ones I have watched so far:

- Blossom May 23: Here is my first impression of the first episode. I am loving that it's different from I am used to. Trying dramas from new countries always brings this freshness that I really enjoy. One of the things I have noticed in cdramas, both this one and PoJ, is the amazing cinematography and the variety of sets. It doesn’t feel like I am looking at the same sets every single time, instead, it feels like it’s actually happening in a chinese city in the past which makes it enjoyable and more real to me. Another thing that catches my eyes is the serenity in the air. The music, the soft speaking and the overall elegant cinematography makes it look expensive. The variety in the story despite it being a historical drama is also enjoyable. I really like that this story has nothing to do with PoJ despite both being historical dramas. I am also enjoying the fighting scenes and amazing costumes. Overall a very good first impression. I ‘ll keep advancing on my list but there’s a very high chance I might continue this cdramas. I need to explore a bit more the characters to see if they are to my liking. So far, I can see that the FL is strong willed and she now has the power to chose her destiny which is amazing.

- Love in the clouds May 24: Well well well, look at all the fantasy elements in this one. Once again, the story is completely different from the previous two. Also, look at the amazing clothing and sets? Can I specifically talk about that scene when he carries her inside his home? The background music, the camara angle, that damn flower TALKING. I am not entirely sure I like the personality of the FL. I think you all just recommended it due to personal preference, it doesn't really fit my criteria. I find the FL rather clingy. To sum it all, I don't think I'll continue the drama but I must emphasize on positive things such as the cinematography, authentic concept, the music, the male lead and the excellent chemistry.

- Princess Royal May 25: first episode made a good impression on me. The pace didn't feel too fast nor too slow. I found myself skipping scenes with the other two and that did not happen in the case of princess royal. All the scenes felt relevant and were interesting to watch. Also, isn't the ML the same guy as in PoJ? The premise also looks interesting and the story has potential depending on how they handle it. The first episode was rather short but it definitely made me curious to how things progress. Cinematography is not as top tier as PoJ or the other two I have watched but overall decent camera work. Costumes as always, very likable and fluffy.
I have noticed that in some shows characters have their hair down and in others they have it up. Here for example, ML has his hair up while in PoJ he had it down. I wonder if it has anything to do with social status or other norms I am not familiar with? If anyone knows, please let me know.

- First frost May 26: Why does my girl have such a hard life? This cdrama is made for the girlies, the feelings are feeling. The director definitely knows the importance of those subtle eyes locking moments. I love that they involved different parts of the city in the story instead of just home + workplace. Girl looks sadly alone and depressed in a. big city. I wonder where the family of the FL are. Is this the typical life of young Chinese adults in big cities? What's with all the sorrow-ish and grey theme in this cdrama? Girl looks like she's tired of life all together.

Cdramas on Netflix

I am usually more of a Kdrama viewer but would like to start watching Cdramas as well. The only one I have watched so far is pursuit of jade and it hit me like a truck. The writing, the cinematography, a strong female lead, a male lead that respects her as his equal and more than 16 episodes was just the mix I needed.

Please recommend me more dramas like Pursuit of Jade that I can watch on Netflix. My only deal breaker is that the female lead must be strong, decent, have dignity and the male lead must be her equal, not her "Prince Charming" who is there to save the miserable childish damsel. I immediately dislike male leads who treat their significant other like they own her or as if she was a child incapable of deciding for herself.

I also tend to dislike dramas with a hint of sorrow in the story. Many years ago, I watched maybe 1 episode of this cdrama in which the male lead and the female lead meet at a cafe (?) in a nordic country. I think they were both students or something. The drama itself, judging by only one episode, was continuable but the whole slow, sorrow-ish aura made me not continue.

----- EDIT ------

Thank you all for your suggestions. I have decided to give a chance to the first episode of 5 cdramas. I have decided 4 out of the 5 cdramas I will watch. I will leave a small first impression after I finish the first episode:
