Several MF, CR books I’ve come across recently have been so frustrating with how they characterize the main characters. The FMCs are so often characterized as bumbling fools, while the MMCs are contrasted as solid, mature, and extremely competent. I’m fine with competence in MMCs - it’s preferred over incompetence. But seeing MMCs labeled as these supremely mature and confident men while their counterpart FMCs are depicted as “silly” and incompetent (even more upsettingly when they’re the same age), is so frustrating and honestly gross.

Has anyone had good luck with sunscreen that doesn’t make their skin greasier? I like tinted mineral, but perhaps it’s not a good fit for me. I tried a sample size of EltaMD tinted mineral sunscreen and it made me break out. I’ve also tried Laroche Posay tinted mineral and it was ok, but the price point for just 1 oz is not very sustainable for me. Most recently, I tried a noncomedogenic innisfree mineral sunscreen that caused a buildup of oil I’ve almost never seen before on my skin 😭 Thanks in advance for any recs!
