first and foremost immich has been amazing and the most solid app since it came out compared to any other photo app i have used. thank you to the immich devs and those who work and keep working to make it amazing!
i have immich setup to point to an external library (a folder that houses all my pics and videos on my nas) i made an account on nas that only has read acccess to this one folder and i used the account to make the connection on immich. when immich was newish, people were posting about it deleting files and folders or something around those lines. i have backups, but i would rather not have to go that route of restoring data..etc. what i want to do is basically use immich to quickly find pictures and videos to delete, edit orientation (say if pic is upside down reverse it and then save it affecting how it shows in immich and the file itself.) things like that, does anyone have experience with this same setup, immich pointing to an external library and then doing these changes?
i would like immich as well to write people data name and face to pics as well. considering it can do that. even take a bunch of pics and put it in a folder
i have wood floors and worried if it leaks, was thinking to put a water senor right under and if it gets wet then to automate the shutoff of the unit
i have had them for 2 years now and they seem fine no leaks or anything ,but my parents a few years after they got theirs installed one of the units started leaking down they caught it in time... i am concernced as where my units are there are wood floors and wood furnitures...would my unit possibly have a water leak sensor pre installed (how can i check) also i bought aqara zigbee water sensors to originaly put on the bottom right of the unit where the wires go outside, but maybe there is a better place to put it?
Each plant has its on well so to say.... is it fine to leave the sensor where it is for the 4 plants? Im putting at the moment, one sensor per vegetable group. Also, where can i find what the soil moisture should be for each vegetable?

i bought these (3) to test. i have 15 vegetables, i just planted each in it's own hole with a well to water. is this sensor meant to be used for my case? i want to be able to see when i should water based off the sensor reading. there are 4 tomatoes 4 eggplants 4 peppers and 3 cucumbers. would i be able to use say 1 sensor per vegetable group ?? or every plant should have a sensor? and from past experience how do these work for my case?
For the last picture i put grout on top and it seems like it's good.... my question this time is, does the grout from the other 3 pics look like the brush may have took off the top layer or does the tiles look fine... for whatever reason now when stepping on it, it feels weird... it could just be in my head lol the tiles are porcelain
This is the brush i used with dawn soap... i put the dawn on all the tiles and let it sit for 20 min or so then scrubbed then turned on hot water to wash down
the host name is in my pihole and is working properly. from ha i can not ping the hostname, but can the ip. if i do a nslookup host name and then the pihole ip it comes back good, if i do a nslookup just the hostname it can not find and is using ha dns internal. in my system - settings - network my dns is already pointing to the phioles. if i run the cat cmd to the file has the internal ha dns ip. i can mount with ip, but i need to mount with hostnames..any suggestions or is this how it is?
