When should I take my retake?

I’m a fairly strong applicant and I do want to apply this cycle. I however did take the dat once and bombed it 💀 ( ik I shouldn’t have taken it). But for my retake I’m between taking it in ~25 days or taking it mid august. Would that be too late in the cycle cause I want to hear back by decision day? My issue is atm I’ve only been studying for a month and I still feel not too secure in my testing (have yet to take a practice test). I’m heavily conflicted on what to do, any advice would be appreciated thanks :)

How do I verify my "application"

To preface I still have to take my DAT retake soon, but I keep hearing people say at least submit to one school to verify your application, what exactly does that mean(what do I have to submit for that)? Whats the benefit and why does it change anything. I just don't entirely understand? Thanks, any advice is appreciated :)

I'm 38 days out from my exam and would appreciate your recommendations. I'm aiming for the 505+ score range as I look to apply DO.I have approx 35 days left till exam day.

This is my bp score: 492 (Chem/Phys 121, Cars 125, Bio/Biochem 123, Psych Soc 123).
