Wrong to get upset at taxi driver that drove off mere inches away from my preschooler?
Am I in the wrong to get upset when a taxi that's parked next to me decides to drive off to park at another lot to continue waiting the moment my preschooler tried to get into my car? Wife and toddler was behind my preschooler. I was in the driver's seat and could only watch helplessly as my preschooler held on to the open door while the taxi moved off a few inches next to him.
For context was picking up kids from school and had parked in the middle of 3 open lots. Came back to see a taxi driver parked next to me. Taxi engine was running and headlights were on. Did not signal nor give us any indication he was moving off. Taxi drove off against traffic to park at another lot. Wife and 2 kids could not enter from driver side as we had isofix childseats in the way.
Went down to speak to him and was told that he had ensured that it was very safe despite the fact that my 2 sons and wife was literally inches next to him. Typical 60-70 plus Chinese taxi driver.
