Why so much controversy with vibrant Wellness.

I see a really good LLMD who basically saved my life. She tested me through IGNEX and found my chronic anaplasmosis with no other test didn’t. She uses just IGNEX and galaxy labs for testing.

Many people on Facebook and here use vibrant Wellness for testing I see. I brought it up to her and she immediately started going off on them. She said she used to use them but found they were very unreliable and prone to false positives. She’s saying that they use a very Broad antigen panel that is very sensitive and not specific at all. Leaving people that think they have like three types of Lyme disease. She also doesn’t like how it uses colors to show your exposures level without a clear positive and negative. She also told me that on vibrant’s website to cover their asses they said that these test should not be used to diagnose.

Is a CK/CPK level of 550 after leg day concerning?

I recently started lifting again after previously having rhabdomyolysis in my triceps. Because of that history, I’ve become pretty anxious and have been checking my CK levels frequently.
After a hard leg workout, my CK came back at about 550 U/L. I only had normal muscle soreness, no dark urine, no unusual weakness, and no severe swelling or pain. Since returning to training, my CK seems to fall somewhere around 300–500 after workouts.
Has anyone else who lifts regularly had similar post-workout CK levels? Does 550 sound consistent with a normal exercise-related increase, especially after training legs? I’m following up with my doctor, but I’m mainly interested in hearing other people’s experiences.

Vibrant Wellness Test Accuracy

My LLMD is not a fan of vibrant testing and says it is prone to cross-reactions and has very low specificity. In her words, she’s skeptical of how accurate the test is. And she’s also a very open-minded doctor. She only tests with Galaxy or Igenex. Is there any truth to this on Vibrant is not that accurate?
