Should I Try Applying to UWC This Year?
Hiiii. I am currently just become a senior in my shs. Lately I keep asking myself should I try applying this year bcs last year I didn't do that because I'm still too scared to left everything behind. I'm trying to explain my condition rn. Next year, I'll be applying to university and my parents (especially my mum) forbid me to take a gap year (even tho I already preparing myself if i have to do that) due to economics things, sadly. In terms of university, my parents allow me to go abroad as long as I get full-ride scholarship.
Lately my thought has driven me crazy. If I applying to UWC, I believe that my percentage of being accepted atleast not fully zero. If I didn't get into next selection, I can get focused to university. If I get into next selection and/ get accepted, my opportunity to get into top university, especially UK, incrased like crazy because my country's high school certificate can't be used to apply in most of international university. But if I missed this opportunity I'll regret my decision but I'm following the term that my mom set up for me.
Maybe you guys can give me some advice, I'll happy to listen to ur advice. <3
