How’s iOS 27.???

I’ve seen a lot of comments praising the iOS 27 beta updates in comparison to iOS 26 stable updates.

What’s your experience about it?
Like what major changes did you feel?
Is it really worth the hype?

Slight delay while screen locking.

After I'm done using my smartphone, when I click the power button to lock the screen there's a slight delay of almost a second. It's not a major issue but still kind of annoying.

It's been happening for almost 2 days now, and I've tried restarting and clearing the recent apps also.. It shouldn't be a storage issue cause more than 60 percent is empty. And I updated to 26

5.1 almost a week ago so I doubt there's any ongoing indexing process.

Is there anyone facing a similar issue? If yes how to fix it.??

Device: Iphone 17, region: India.

Need some suggestions over shortcuts and animations..!!

Almost two months of ownership and it's been a great experience so far, but now I want to step up with some customisations or automations.

I've seen a lot of comments talking about the shortcuts app and it's benefits of automations, so I want some of your personal favourite automations or shortcuts that you use in day to day life.

Please write down the whole process of creating the automation/shortcut as I'm not experienced with this.

Like an example: like turning off/on true tone while opening/closing the photos app, or some kind of editing apps.

Recommended your favourite app suggestions.

Hello all, I need some app suggestions that you guys like to use on a daily basis.

There's no particular genre of sort that I'm looking for, I just want to try some new options as a new iOS user that's it. It can be as simple as a weather app or maybe complicated as an integration solver lol.

Looking forward to some great options, Thanks in advance.

Yes the title sounds weird but it’s true for me.

It’s almost a month of ownership, and my screen time has decreased by almost an hour nowadays. (which is good thing ig)

If I have to guess it’s iOS for me, yes it has tons of customisations but at the end it’s nothing you will play around for days. Once it’s settled It works as it’s intended to with stability. I’m not a heavy user who customise the heck out of everything , I try to achieve my setup in the initial days and stick with it for the long which is why iOS works for me I guess.

Another thing might be the battery backup. Don’t get me wrong here it works great for me, I complete my day with ~40 percent of backup, but in the back of subconscious mind the fear of battery health is there for me. I won’t say I completely ignore the care about BH but believe me I don’t have anxiety issues like some others. Cause I know if degradation occurs I can simply replace the battery and be sorted.

Does anything similar happens with anyone? Do share your thoughts and thanks for reading out my ranting.
