Complaint about contractor

Where can I submit a complaint about an equipment operator? This is not about performance on the job but about overall conduct (animal welfare issue). I was told it was brought up to the team (maybe a few iterations of teams) but not sure anything came of it.

Am I missing something or is it just really stuck

I’m trying to turn off the valve to disconnect my fridge. The left side turns easily, right side (that connects to fridge) won’t budge.

Bolivia

I'm looking at going to Bolivia for about 10 days at the end of September/early October. Is this typically a decent time to summit Huayna Potosi or Pico Austria? I'm also interested in doing some long day hikes/runs (up to 25 miles). Can anyone recommend a guide or service that could help me organize transportation and such? For the peaks, I would definitely use a guide. Thanks in advance!

Maxing out GVWR

I just weighed my set up pretty much fully loaded and it’s 30 lbs over the GVWR. I know that’s not a lot but it’s not great. I have a 2011 Tacoma and a Roamin Chariot camper. No heat, no power or solar, although I may add that stuff one day. I’m adding leaf springs but I know that doesn’t change the GVWR.

How bad is it to be at the limit? Any suggestions on what else I can do, except shed some weight? I’m considering taking out the passenger seat because it’s mostly just me and my dog (he’s 90 lbs)!

How are you all keeping your large dogs safe and comfortable?

I have a 2011 Tacoma with an access cab/ jump seats, and a 90 pound dog. I’ve tried putting stuff in front of the jump seats to kinda level it out. It still doesn’t seem very comfortable. He already needs a restraint because if he hears a beep or we make too many windy turns he wants to get in my lap. In the front I worry about him hanging all over the gear shift area and knocking it out of place while driving.

I’m seriously considering taking out the front passenger seat so he has a larger flat area. I also worry that as he gets older he won’t be able to jump into the seats in the back very easily, maybe floor level would be better. In my Subaru I keep him in the way back in the doggy jail.

Any ideas??

Dog friendly peaks

What are your favorite dog friendly Eastern Sierra peaks?

He can do class 2 + (he doesn’t like the big talus boulder hopping). We frequently do 15-25 mile, 3000-5000 ft day hikes.

Amtrak luggage storage

Does anyone know if the Reno Amtrak station has a bag check area if you are a ticketed passenger? My family is leaving by train and wants to walk around town a bit before their train leaves.

Help me with my tiny bathroom

I hate this bathroom. I don’t need two sinks and I would like somewhere to hide a dirty clothes hamper. I can move plumbing. I was thinking I would move the toilet to the shower nook. Build a walk-in glass shower against the back wall with the window side having a full height storage cabinet with hamper. And replacing the vanity with one sink that also maximizes storage and countertop space.

Women’s backcountry set up recommendations

I am 5’3” and about 120 lbs. I currently ski moment skis, they used to make women’s specific touring skis, so mine are the Bella Tours, 108 underfoot and 162 length. I like the wider skis even for spring corn conditions. But I’d like to get something for more ice and variable conditions for longer mountaineering objectives.

I’m considering the atomic backlands 101, or blizzard zero 0 96. Both are 157 and 158 length.

Any suggestions?
