Started Latuda in May. Went Well until it Didn't

I have been dealing with bipolar depression for awhile and like most people, tried and stopped quite a long list of meds.

I started latuda in May after lamotrigine wasnt doing anything for me and after being switched to the X-tended release lamotrigine I had horrific night terrors and anxiety.

Latuda did wonders for me at first. I felt so clear headed and put together. I was getting out of bed with no problems and was genuinely doing so well. That was until like a month or 2 in, I started getting excruciating akathesia and was forced to stop. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am currently 17 days in and the withdrawls have been pretty messy. I am hoping for relief soon. My doc wants me to try Caplyta but I am scared to try anything else. Especially as a second year grad student. I really need to be on my game and I can deal with the med changes again. I was trialing meds during my first year and it made my life hell.

Any advice or thoughts would be helpful. I feel very alone during this time.

Best,
