Anyone experienced with apollo/artemis who can give me some setting advice? (Regarding resolution etc from pc > android > direct plug to glasses)

So ive been messing with these for months, and ive messed with literally every setting possible it feels like.

Anyone got the 3s pros who have actual good, consistent, non-jittery viewing through the glasses?

I have a Samsung s25 ultra, the resolution is wonky on the phone itself (2340x1080) because of the biggest screen but I set my artemis to display 1080p, at 120hz, with around 100mb bitrate (ive tried super high and low and all in between, adjusted by 20mb increments, its pretty stable overall)

Now, when I am viewing my pc through artemis, on the phone screen, its very smooth, looks VERY close to 120 fps, much like when im sitting at my pc monitor.

However, when I connect my glasses to my phone, all sorts of jank starts to happen, it feels like it drops to 90fps although everything says 120, like its just visually off. When I spin the camera around in game, it jitters, when I move around it jitters.

It's playable, but for the glasses to say it supports 120hz it definitely doesn't feel like it (yes its set to 120hz in the glasses setting)

Is it simply bevause the screen is "blown up" that the jitter becomes 10x more noticeable than on my phone screen or what?

I use an adapter rated for 120hz to charge my phone while also connect to the glasses at the same time, this issue still persists even with a direct usb connection to my phone.

I've tried setting the frame pacing to low latency, balanced, etc, (the warp options doesn't really seem to make any difference either, should I be sticking to these?)

Anyways, anyone got any ideas? I thought it was my network, and it could be a bit, but it looks pretty great on just the phone screen like I said.

Any tips on anyone who maybe figured something out would be great.

Like is there a setting im missing or something? Or am I running the resolutions incorrectly? Like I cant seem to pinpoint what's wrong.

Update on renewal scam(?) Charged twice for almost 200 dollars., after updating my payment it auto renewed BEFORE the auto renewal date.

Now ive dealt with a lot of companies and subscriptions in my day, but this was worse than I thought once my wife brought up we were charged almost 200 dollars.

This is 2002 gym membership levels of whatthefuckery.

I'll probably get banned for this or somrthing, but it was absurd having this even happen.

So keep note folks, you will probably be charged prior to your actual auto renewal date, dont update your payment info, and disable the auto renewal feature unless you want some money to evaporate from your account for a week+

Did i do something wrong, dunno, maybe, but as a pretty technologically literate person it feels weird that this somehow happened to me, I could see a LOT of people having this happen to them if they pay off and cancel their credit card and not update their payment method until they are ready to renew.

Beware.

Renew cost dropped 80% because I said no?

I signed up a couple years ago for the 2 year plan, went to update my stuff today and I thought to myself... I dont recall spending 150 bucks for this last time.

Been having issues with it not connecting and still allowing traffic through on my android, even with killswitch enabled so I was about to just say see ya.

So I hit the dont renew button, suddenly its offering me 2 years for 69 bucks.

So... if I had just been a good little soldier and clicked the button the first time I would have just been charged an extra almost 100 bucks for nothing?

Still renewed because of the lower price, but kinda sour about the fact that one extra click discounted me like 70%, like if i didn't, id be out a big chunk of change.

Very rogers/telus coded business, not a big fan there.

Is there a place online to get good community steam input profiles?

Most of the ones that actually are on steam are pretty shit and have zero reviews, is there a place where like actual GOOD configurations go that people can comment on and rate properly?

Not that im lazy to make my own, ive spent like 8 hours so far just tinkering with stuff to get it feeling right, but it would be nice to try someone else's and be like "ohhhhh shit THIS is what its supposed to feel like!"

There is a bunch of the steam defaults but a bunch of them feel pretty awful.

Kill switch on, vpn shows connected, on android Samsung phone, why is it not hiding my IP?!?

So sometimes ill pause my VPN to get some ad bonus in a game or something, and it frequently works just fine, but every so often ill just get the itch to check my IP, and it usually shows where im connected.

But lately its been frequently showing my EXACT location.

I check everything, kill switch, its on, everything.

I refresh the page, still same ip and location.

The only thing that seems to fix it is to disconnect and reconnect.

Yes this is simple, but when it comes to security and privacy, with a kill switch, to have the app just randomly disconnect without warning is bonkers.

It doesnt happen on any of my other devices, but I typically never pause them. Does anyone else have this issue?
